More Bob Dylan, and Creole Santas

Bob was NOT finished...he needed more work and I will post new pictures when he's done.

I sent off my two Creole Santas today, to a client in California.

They are nylon sculpture and cloth and recyled felted wool, so they are soft!

Today was fun to see that I had comments on my work at the http://www.clothdolls.ning.com/
which I just joined...I do think I am going to like it.
Also I am excited about getting the glass eyes in the mail today, which I need to complete my Obama figure in paper clay that I am working on. I had finished him, but used plastic brown eyes, and he needed the extra sparkle and realism that glass eyes give.

Bob Dylan Figure completed

Bob Dylan's figure is complete, except for minor details...guess I could go on and on with him, but sometimes that actually makes problems. So more pictures and different ways of looking at him to see if any adhustments need to be made. He is big, 39", made of paper clay and cloth, with inner armature. I made his guitar and harmonica, and harmanica holder...it was a fun project. He was a commission made late last year.
